Participated in a 4-week intensive computer science program where myself and a group of other students were taught all the different tools of basic web development, being HTML, CSS, and Javascript. They also taught about the uses of each language, how to properly use them together, how to use HTML and CSS to style pages nicely. At the end of each week we created projects in groups of 2 using what we learned and for the final week, we split into groups of 2-3 to develop a website in 5 days to present to our instructors.

Given a project topic, we conduct research with small group of other interns, working together to expand our scientific knowledge and gain valuable experience in the researching industry. Our group conducted on olfaction using surveys as a method of data collection, built a website that hosts both surveys online, did data analysis on the information collected, and created a final presentation and a research paper.

I was placed in a group with 5 other interns to create a solution to improve student safety. This solution was presented to real superintendents and our goal was to create the best solutions out of 15 different teams. I helped conduct the research, set up the presentation, presented our solution to a local superintendent of one of the interns to see if our solutions could be applied and what we would need to get it off the ground, and was team leader throughout this project.

Our main goal was conducted in a team of 13 other interns where we developed a solution to a problem given by Motorola Solutions and had to pitch our idea to a panel of judges. While working on this project, I as well as other interns were given a tour of the facility, given personal mentors that we shadowed, and given access to the resources in the facility, which included technology like 3D printers to assist us in presenting our solution.
