During the summers between my schooling I would work at the West Virginia Division of Highways District 9 headquarters. I was a part of the sign crew that was based there. We would ensure that all road signs in our area were being properly maintained and replaced as needed. We would also lay down new and replace old pavement markings at road intersections. During this jobs we would sometimes need to redirect traffic flow to make sure worker safety was maintained.

As a Shift Lead at Dairy Queen, I supervised other employees during the course of serving customers. I would ensure customer satisfaction was being met and that all jobs assigned to employees were completed. At the end of the shift I would count all registers and record the transactions for the day. I would also ensure the store was properly cleaned and closed to be ready for business again the next day.
