For more than fifteen years I have been in charge of developing art and history-based programs and educational materials for students and adults at two major American institutions, The Smithsonian and the American Red Cross. for more than two years I have been in charge of the eucational mission of The Textile Museum. The programs and materials I develop are successful in adhering to the educational goals and mission of each institution, and have allowed me to create new and improved standard operating procedures and methods. At this point in my career I’ve realized that having closer contact with the visiting public and developing unique programs that are enriching, entertaining and meaningful are what I want to spend my time doing. I get my greatest satisfaction when a program has been interesting, well received and allows me to work with a team of like-minded professionals.Specialties: • A proven track record of conceiving and producing an array of art and history-related programs for the general public at The Textile Museum, The American Red Cross, the Smithsonian and the National Trust for Historic Preservation• Over eight years of experience in developing internet-based and gallery-based learning materials that students and teachers use
