An evolution of my previous role, I lead the business management capabilities of our Digital Transformation & Technology department to drive our function toward greater health, efficiency and effectiveness as we enable broader business transformation through technology. As a creative storyteller, it was my job to oversee the content development for the publication, in addition to personally developing brand-relevant articles, videos, infographics, GIFs, illustrations and more that inspire, engage and nourish. My responsibilities includes story mining, writing, editing, planning editorial processes, and working with internal and external partners to help bring these stories to life.

As the head of marketing communications, I oversaw all elements of marketing, public relations, business development, and general strategic direction for Northwest Georgia Credit Union. The not-for-profit financial cooperative taught me the value of people over profits, being resourceful, and having an entrepreneurial mindset. Among my favorite projects were the rebranding of the credit union, the launch of the new nwgacu.org, development of social media presence and a blog, establishing a community relations program, building the Embark! youth financial literacy program from scratch, local media relations, and creating a socially responsible narrative that credit unions are about more than the bottom line.Additional service: President of the Georgia Credit Union Marketing Council and board member of the Coosa Valley Credit Union Chapter
