Performed medical device design processes including maintaining proper DHF documentation and ISO standards, verification and validation testing, and FDA regulatory pathways. Worked with a team of Bioengineers and Clinicians to design novel post-operative prosthetic device to reduce post-amputation healing time and patient compliance.

Team was focused on developing a bionic pressure glove capable of mapping a sense of touch for use in prosthetics. Integrated pressure sensors with Arduino programming to provide meaningful output to the user. Used 3D printing method to design and manufacture functioning robotic prosthetic limbs.

Lab was concerned with engineering a set of “optical tweezers” to study molecular biophysics of motor proteins. Primarily assisted in developing software to integrate the hardware and optical elements of optical tweezer using LabVIEW.

Research team was interested with using software defined networking to enhance networking strategies using slices of GENI hardware.Main responsibility was programming a stable wireless network link to servers at University of Wisconsin as well as University of Utah.

Carried out in-depth research and development of a virtual reality system engineered for the blind. Responsible for ordering components and assembling a Raspberry Pi computer equipped with gyroscope and Bluetooth capabilities. Research team was recognized by national grant to continue development.
