- After finishing my mission at Long Son Petrochemical Project, I have returned to Ho Chi Minh City to study MBA and worked for Central Retail as a PM, who manage multiple projects at the same time, including renovation as well as new development of shopping mall, small size to big size.- As a PM, I have involved in all phases of project from initial to closing project, from concept design, bidding, construction, inspection and handover to operation.- Cooperating with many disciplines within the company, liaise with the authority for inspection and turn project into operation.

- After complete my mission at Aecom Vietnam, I went to the South to join the biggest Petrochemical Project at that time in Vung Tau (Long Son Petrochemical Complex Project) with the capital is approximately 5 billion USD as a civil leader of the owner.- As civil leader who manage and control all of civil and architecture works of project, manage the Korea well-known EPC company, have given me a lot of experiences, skills and knowledges about the technical, project management and leadership.- As a Vietnamese leader in an international company, manage and control one of the famous EPC Contractor from Korea, that was the evidence for my personal growths and development.- Defer from Nghi Son Petrochemical, this project schedule is tighter, and I was involved since design phase. I and the team have gone to EPC Contractor main office to work with them for detail design and 3D design, which embraced me a lot of technical knowledges about civil and architectural works include the geotechnical, structure, firefighting, etc.- Successfully complete construction phase of the project within time and good quality.

-On behalf of Employer to perform the procurement process, mostly under DBB project delivery type which includes:- Prepare Tender documents- Conduct bidding process- Evaluate the bid and award the tender- Prepare the contract documents- Administrate contract performance- Verify and certificate Contractor payments

- Formulate company strategies, implement them and evaluate them.- Manage and administrate the main operation activities- Hire, train people- Lead the marketing campaigns, lead the sale force- Manage the financial of company, make and control P&L-Manage multiple projects includes high-rise building, villas and heavy industtrial

- This is a 9 billion USD Petrochemical and Refinery Complex Project, located in Nghi Son, Thanh Hoa.- Different to the last project, my role here was a team leader with main tasks were project management and supervision.- I have started the job here since beginning of construction phase of project. So, my job was managing and supervising as well as leading the team 9 people to manage many subcontractors works such as piling, civil, architecture and MEP.- The advantages of this project were all the procedures and systems available in the good manners. The project standard for quality and safety were extremely high while the schedule was quite comfortable.- This job required very strong technical knowledges, understanding all different works method statements, planning, quality management and controlling, risk and safety management and controlling.- As a leader, I need to create the motivated working environment where people feel that's my team as a family and they have been guided well, never get lot or confuse.- Cooperating with other disciplines, manage and direct to subcontractor's works in order to achieve project goal and objective.- Provide the support to superintendence and manager in the timely manner and helpful.- My most successful here was the recognition for good leadership and contributions from the managers and company.

- Nghi Son 1 Coal Power Thermal Project was one of biggest projects in Vietnam at that time. The Project capital was approximately 1.2 billion USD. The owner of project is Vietnam Electrical Corporation, EPC Contractor is Marubeni from Japan and Main Contractor is Jurong Engineering Limited, also my company.- My role at this project was QS Engineer of Jurong Engineering Limited.- Within 4 years working there, I have done tons of quantity takeoff and checking and verifying subcontractors, suppliers' payments. Also, my main tasks were preparing IPC to the main contractor Marubeni and on behalf of Marubeni prepare IPC to client as well.- The challenges were dealing with very traditional working style of Vietnam government company when they always tried to delay our payment until the last moment. The key learning skill which I have learnt here is communication skill which I always need to be flexible and professional and nice with client management personnel but still get the payments on time.- I also have gained a lot of good negotiation skills during long time negotiation for VO and EOT of project.- As a QS, in addition to the tasks related to payments, my other key tasks were controlling the cost. Always give the project manager the updated about status of project cost and budget. Giving him notice for any signs of overspending.- Contract management and administration also one of key major I need to perform, which include mange the contract with main Contractor, Client, and subcontractors and suppliers with various types of Contract appropriated with different Project Delivery Methods such as DBB, CMAR and DB.- In addition, performed the bidding process also one of my important tasks as well.
