As a Chief Warrant Officer and Commanding Officer with the U.S. Coast Guard, I have over 27 years of experience in leading and managing diverse teams, operations, and projects in the maritime domain. I have developed and demonstrated strong organizational leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as expertise in navigation, seamanship, maritime law, and emergency management.In my most recent assignment, I was responsible for the operational readiness, safety, and welfare of the USCGC MARCUS HANNA and its 25 crew members, maintaining the Maritime Transportation System in Northern New England including Boston by conducting aids to navigation maintenance, icebreaking, and search and rescue missions. I also coordinated and communicated with other agencies and stakeholders, ensuring the security, safety, and stewardship of the nation's waters and maritime resources. I am passionate about serving my country and my community, and I am looking forward to applying my skills and experience in new and challenging opportunities.
