During my professional journey, I have experienced all technical area advantages and learned a lot about the operation to then transition to the management world. As a veterinarian, I acquired essential skills for my professional growth, such as critical thinking, team building, leadership, and problem-solving. Throughout the time dedicated to marine conservation at the most important Brazilian sea turtle conservation program, I have had amazing experiences involving research, communities, environment education, tourism, sustainability, and several kinds of management opportunities, that enhance my skill set. It was in this diverse scenario that I discovered my passion for management. All my previous roles prepared me for the challenge of managing a big Visitor Center and I could understand how important management skills are and broaden my aptitudes. Although I am so proud of my achievements as a Projeto Tamar Visitor Center manager, I am now willing to explore new opportunities in my career and foster businesses committed to socio-environmental issues.
