• Project team member (construction) for the EMBL Imaging Centre project that will deliver high resolution imaging technology for light and electron microscopy.• Coordination of external project consultants in the planning and design of the Imaging centre.• Lead for laboratory planning and concept design development. • Development of the requirements documentation necessary for project planning.• Responsible for cost control and defining the cost breakdown structure for internal cost tracking and reporting.• Development of project cash flow forecasts necessary to coordinate funding. • Support of tender and contract negotiations.• Development of risk management plan and detailed analysis of tender and execution risk determining contingency allowances. • Development of project change management processes, together with the management of change requests. • Preparation of progress reporting for EMBL construction board and other internal stakeholder groups.• Supporting preparation of progress reporting to the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forshung (BMBF).• Management of project stakeholders.• Provided project management advice to project stakeholders regarding cost, schedule and risk management.

• Junior team member – initially responsible for supporting the senior architect to document project requirements and develop lab layout concepts. The role developed to take on projects independently as language skills improved. Involved with projects at both the Italian and Spanish outstations.• Internal lab refurbishments involved defining the user’s requirements, developing a functional concept, developing project schedules and cost estimates, procuring trades, monitoring and tracking costs, and the coordination of onsite construction activities until hand over. • Led the conversion of campus building documentation into 3D environment. Modelling approximately 42,000m2 floor area across the campus.

• Responsible for advising clients about a range of development and town planning requirements. • Coordination and management of the development approval process across a range of development types (industrial, commercial, residential, land subdivision etc.)• Management of geographical information systems (GIS) content (aerial photography etc.) to support planning applications, planning and environmental court evidence, master planning and planning scheme development• Cartographic support during the development of regional planning schemes for Cook Shire Council and South Burnett Regional Council
