Cofounder of unique organization that integrates unmanned ground, maritime, and aerial systems (drones) into public safety, industrial, commercial, community, and academic organizations. Responsible for all activities of this progressive, highly specialized company. Tasks include business and strategic planning, market research and planning, technology systems design and specification, budgeting, networking with innovative industry and academic leaders, and recruitment of passionate team members who want to make the world a safer and better place.

Community Research Corporation served the public safety, private security, critical infrastructure, energy, healthcare, telecom, government, and entertainment markets. Services include site analysis and development, strategic planning, interagency collaboration, applied research, technical writing, project management, field asset deployment, and tactical operations support.

Ielase provided therapy and counseling to individuals who were incarcerated or on probation/parole through 5 programs in-house or in PA correctional institutions. Responsibilities included preparation of client profiles, consolidation of patient data, preparation and submission of research papers, and interaction with court and law enforcement personnel.

PSRC was launched to assist with integrating technology - especially desktop computers - into public safety operations through publications and articles.

Second-in-command of research center jointly owned by Pitt & CMU focused on the funding and development of innovative technologies, technology commercialization, and technical assistance to university spinoff companies. Responsibilities included oversight of finances and information systems, interaction with senior administrators and research offices at both universities, administration of the state Ben Franklin Partnership program, collaboration with economic and community development agencies and elected/appointed officials in western PA, review and promotion of business/technology proposals, and promotion of technology education.

9-officer branch campus police department; Responsibilities included enforcement of Pennsylvania laws and university policy, vehicle/foot patrol, traffic control/parking enforcement, insure rooms and buildings are secure, crime/emergency response and investigation, and collaborate with Center Twp and Monaca Police Departments.

43-officer department: Provided security, fire, and EMS coverage in a large (6,500 employees) steel manufacturing complex. Responsibilities included vehicle and foot patrol, gate and traffic control, crime/theft prevention and investigation, fire protection and response, industrial rescue, in-plant advanced life support for sick and injured, and collaboration with Midland Boro Police and Fire Departments.

Participated in startup/transition of EMS providers and establishment of the first ALS service in the county, graduate of the county's first paramedic class.

8-officer municipal police department; Responsibilities included enforcement of PA state laws and township ordinances, vehicle/foot patrol, crime/emergency response and investigation, detention and arrest of suspects, and court preparation and testimony. Served on the Beaver County SWAT team.
