I currently have over 6 years experience in the medical device industry. I started as a warehouse intern for Dischem Pharmacy and then I joined Johnson and Johnson medical as a warehouse operator (Midrand). As I progressed in my journey with Johnson and Johnson Medical, I joined the sales department as a sales representative for both Recon and Trauma in the Durban branch. This opened the opportunity for me to expand my options back into Supply Chain as a Quality Specialist for the Durban branch. Based on my experience and skill set, I was appointed as a warehouse supervisor for Johnson and Johnson Medical (Durban). My main function was to oversee all operational processes and overall warehouse output. I am now the Branch Supervisor for Smith and Nephew - Cape Town. This role is a much broader leadership role, where I oversee the entire operational output of the branch, facilities management, manage Health and Safety protocol, etc.In this current leadership role, I lead with fairness to the people that report directly to me and I prioritise patient care.
