I graduated in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from SLTC Research University. My journey in engineering has been exciting. To fulfill my academic requirements, I completed a 6-month training at Browns Engineering as a Telecommunication Engineering Trainee, where I gained practical experience in telecommunications engineering.I'm a self-motivated individual, always eager to learn new things. I believe that continuously gaining new skills and knowledge is the way to grow, both personally and professionally. I completed an AWS Solution Architecture course on Udemy, which provided hands-on experience in setting up high-availability web hosting with ALB and CloudFront, securing static website hosting with Amazon S3 and CloudFront, and leveraging S3, SQS, SNS, and S3 Event Notifications for efficient notification handling. These experiences have allowed me to expand my skill set and work on more complex and scalable solutions in the AWS environment.I also completed a Linux training course on Udemy, where I gained practical knowledge in installing and configuring RedHat/CentOS in a virtual environment, creating files using Vim editors, monitoring performance using commands, compressing and archiving the files, and some other Linux command executions. This course broadened my understanding of Linux.Currently, I am working as an Intern DevOps Engineer at Arimac Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., where my responsibilities include monitoring with Grafana, providing level 1 support, creating GitLab CI/CD pipelines, writing Docker Compose files and Dockerfiles, and troubleshooting Docker container-related issues. Additionally, I have strong experience with the Linux command line and extensive experience working in the AWS cloud environment.I am a team player. During my academic years, I actively participated in numerous volunteering events with the SLTC LEO Club and SLTC IEEE Society. I also served as an organizing committee member for several events during my academic period.I'm always on the lookout for opportunities to apply my knowledge and skills in a practical context.
