Help assist the STEVE MADDEN technical team with issues regarding fit,material, and details of the shoe. Help negotiate delivery terms and chargebacksaccordingly. Responsible for maintaining healthy relationships with the buyers and with thefactories overseas. Also responsible for, but not limited. to purchase order entry, runningdaily and weekly reports, development and production materials, overseeing productionpackaging and presentation, bulk material order, assisting with invoicing, and aiding thelogistic team in all aspects needed in order to confirm exit factory dates, landed dates, aswell first cost container yard dates and vessel type.

Sketch designsof footwear products for various footwear companies for company review as well assistingin other aspects of the sketching stage by dictating color palettes, and materials and theirreferences. Give development direction and advisement on issue of fit, shape, structure,material, color and palette, and other essential footwear product parts. Set up newprotocols, procedures, and standards and communicate these new documents andprotocols internationally to ensure the sample process is as smooth as possible. Help ensurecustomer satisfaction when the product(s) arrive in their hands for first review. Mediatebetween customer needs / desires and agents’ / production factories’ needsand desires. Ensure understanding between customers, Tribute, and sampling agents /production factories. Aid in concepts and designing for future seasons as well and seasonaltransitional items. Help aid and oversee production issues.
