At SciQuel the main focus of work is on the SciQuel website. SciQuel is a non-profit organization that aims to increase scientific literacy by providing scientific articles to non-technical people. At SciQuel we used the MERN stack, and I work as a full-stack developer. We have a stand-up every week and would collaborate with other interns to boost efficiency. This is a remote internship and all the meetings are done through zoom.

I was in the Pillow Talk and Maintenance team. In pillow talk our team is developing a voice control system to help inflate or deflate pillow(s) for a person living with ALS. In pillow talk, we do pair-programming and my main role is to refactor codes. In maintenance team, we are improving and maintaining the HuskyHunt website. We work with Django and Booth Strap, I primarily play a role as a full-stack developer. Lastly I was on GDLS, where we worked on web scraping and training AI. On this team my primary job was to work with object detection with YOLO.
