CR 1076- Proposed Cross Island Line(CRL): Extension of Pasir Ris MRT elevated station and associated Addition and Altration worksClient: Land Transport Authority, Singapore

The proposed North East Line extension (NELe) is a fully underground 6-car Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) System with a route-length of approximately 1.6km.It comprises cut-and-cover tunnel connecting to existing North East Line (NEL) Punggol Station overrun tunnel, mainline bored tunnels, crossover, one station and overrun tunnel. Contract 715 (C715) comprises the construction and completion of the cut-and-cover tunnel and twin bored tunnels with associated cross passages, from existing North East Line (NEL) Punggol Station overrun tunnel to the proposed NELe crossover tunnel. Additional and alteration works at existing Punggol overrun tunnel, and its associated ancillary works.

Project: T222- Construction of Outram Park interchange underground station & associated tunnels for the Thomson-East Coast Line for Land Transport Authority of Singapore.Role and responsibilities:● Providing supervision to ensure all works carried out by the contractor are accordance to approved plans, method statements, codes, and specifications.● To review on Construction Execution Procedure, Safe Work Procedure, construction drawings, amendment drawings, field change records, non-conformance records, survey reports, sub-con approval and material approvals.● To monitor and supervise on construction activities (TAM grouting works at the launching shafts, TBM docking areas, and utility gaps, additional SI works, instrumentation works, concrete and structural steel material testing works, D-walls, bored piles, secant bored piles construction works, station and link way excavation works, ERSS works – Top-down and Bottom Up methods, reinforced concrete and structural steel construction works, waterproofing works, deck panel installation works, road diversion works, TBM delivery, assembly, SAT, launching works, TBM excavation managing works) carried out as per specification/approved construction drawings.● To monitor and review of various tests reports on construction activities & Tunnelling.● To check on Tunnel boring mechine operation face pressures, thrust force, cutter torque, cutter rotation speed, muck reconciliation, parameters on muck, foam, water, bentonite, primary and secondary grout, tail-seal grease, and TBM alignment.● To review on TBM Daily Report, Daily Tunnel Meeting Records, Tunnel Shift Report, Segment Delivery Record, Segment Inspection Report, Segment Repair Report, TBM Operation Inspection Report, Operation Record, Grout and Soil Testing Record, Backfill Grout Record, Secondary Backfill Grout Record, Probe Drilling Record, Ring Build Record and Ring Lips and Steps Record.

Projects : LTA Projects (Various types of advance works , Tunneling & Structural works) -Down Town Line - C937, C925, C917 Thomson Line- T210, T206, T209, T217, T221, T216, T218 HDB Projects –N6C11- Bukit Panjang- Deep excavations and ducting Bedok Mixed Development- Bigger sized Box culvert Diversions & various small scale projectsRole and responsibilities:• In charge for the overall operation of the company’s operation teams for the various projects and managing all the resources of the company for the effective out puts.• Deciding suitable construction methods with the assistance of the senior project manager and execute the works with in the budget with quality.• Assisting to the director & Senior project manager on the commercial & Contractual matters & selection of subcontractors.• Manage various type of advanced works which our company involved in various LTA projects at DTL and Thomson Line• Handle the design and submission on the ERSS with our PE and relevant authorities. • Overall in charge for Recourse deployments, safety , quality controls • Assessment of new projects and assisting senior project manager on quotations.• I have expanded my experience as my company worked with most of the main contractors in Singapore for underground structures, and advance works. • Train and evaluate the Engineers, supervisors and Work force of the company and train them to the independent levels by providing necessary courses and knowledge etc.• Coordination with other main contractors & other sub-contractors and manage all the operation meetings.• Dealing with relevant authorities for the various types of approvals such as PUB, NEA, N-Park, POWER GRID, SING TEL, SP TELECOM etc.• Maintain records and reports and claim submissions on time.

Projects : 1) LTA- C911- Down town line stage 2 depot- GS-HLS joint venture 2) Infra II @ NUS-Town - Shimizu corporation 3) Scotts Square - Shimizu CorporationExperience Gained:• As a sub- contractor’s representative, over roll in-charge for construction activities at site for the various projects.• Successfully complete the cable tunnel ( 185m) in a single Drive using the 2700mm Diameter slurry TBM at C911-Gali batu Depot• Manage most type of advanced works related to Micro tunneling(pipe Jacking around 1400m) & Earth retaining structures, construction of deep caissons & Utility diversions and construction of utility networks for the New Down town line depot. • Involved in Cut & Cover MRT tunnel construction and bigger sized underground box culvert constructions below the proposed tracks. • I have expanded my experience as my company worked with most of the main contractors in Singapore for underground structures, and advance works. • Supervision of the construction works with Quality controls, setting outs, levels & proper workmanship.• Coordination with other main contractors & other sub-contractors working in this project.• Resource deployments for the various types of works and projects.• Ensuring Safety at site• Preparation of reports, bar schedules, shop drawings & Attending Meeting with main contractors.

Project: Segar Palm ViewProposed public housing development comprising of 4 blocks of 18 storey flats, 2 blocks of part 18/16-storey flats (Total:682 Units), 1 block of multi storey car park with landscape garden, community facilities, precinct Pavilion & ESS at Segar Road, SingaporeExperience Gained:• Project scheduling, planning and assisting Project Manager for overall Project Management and Site Management• Complete responsible of planning, coordination, organization and execution of the day to day works at site.• Coordinate the piling work comprising 1020 numbers of bore piles in various sizes and pile caps with various sizes and groups. • Execution of basement constructions with relevant supporting systems such as sheet pile and strutting. The above 2 works were successfully completed during my period.• Pre cast coordination.• Architectural Coordination• Organization and coordination of subcontractors for the allocated works• Responsible for the materials (approvals, quantities, orders and deliveries)• Assist PM to obtain the approvals and permits from the relevant authorities accordingly• Responsible for schedules and drawings as well as ensure the works at site accordingly• Coordination with client and subcontractors and attending the relevant meetings

Customs building Extension @ Abu samra- Bin Omran constructionExperience Gained:• Construction supervision for various projects as our company carryout several Structural works.• Studied the new technologies in Reinforced concrete & composite building construction works in various Construction Projects in Qatar.• Coordination for Structural & MEP works.• Preparation of shop drawings, Reports, works schedules, bar schedules & monitoring the site progress.• Resource deployments & quality control.• Meeting with Client and Consultant.

Project : Thirukkovil Water supply project– JV- Sierra Construction & Abara Internationals from Japan.Experience Gained:• As a consultant’s representative, Design & Construction Supervision of a full water supply scheme containing water treatment plant (55 structures), roads, and 105km pipe networks.• Construction of Water Retaining structures, Storage Reservoirs, Buildings design & site supervision.• Construction of Internal Roads with in our treatment plant area.• Quality controls including site concrete batching plant & Laboratory. • Preparation of reports, bar schedules, drawings & Safety at site• Supervising the construction of Ultra filtration units & pumping systems, which was construct by the international contractors from Japan.
