Lead contractor for the EPA ENERGY STAR Small Business and Congregations network working to significantly increase energy and water efficiency. I train groups on energy and water benchmarking in Portfolio Manager and work with them on innovative solutions for their organizations. I also support ESG's work with USAID's Power Africa Uganda Electricity Supply Accelerator.

Managed the organization's communications, convening and research as well as special projects such as leading the C-AGG team's support to the US Climate Alliance as a Natural and Working Lands Impact Partner.

Led the organization’s full communications platform and worked with financiers, project developers, and industry to move biochar into the mainstream. Developed materials on biochar; worked with industry to create standards for biochar such as characterization, sustainability, etc.; administered the IBI website and all associated databases and resources; communicated with IBI members; answered press inquiries; wrote and sent all monthly newsletters, press releases, and articles; worked with developing country projects through proposal and project development; and planned and managed domestic and international conferences.

Hatgal, Hovsgol Aimag, Mongolia

I worked with a local team to create a school agriculture program through designing and building a garden and greenhouse in far northern Mongolia. We successfully raised funds through grants to expand the agriculture program which continues to this day. As one of the school's two English teachers, I worked with my local counterpart to create English-based materials for educational purposes; taught English in a rural secondary school; and taught eco-tourism to local guides and administrators.
