I was an armorer while serving and was responsible for the security and safekeeping of weapons and gear totaling over $18.5 Million, which is maintained inside an armory. I was on active duty orders for most of my Marine Corps career and have experience in a joint operations/multinational environment. I filled a billet two pay grades above mine and managed 11 people. I also managed 12 separate armory locations within the United States. During this time, I received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and a personal award from the Commanding General of the 4th MLG. In May 2019, I was requested by MARFORRES to go to Norway to meet with the Norwegian military and fulfill the maintenance management oversight of all Marine Corps equipment and vehicles stored underneath the Norwegian mountains totaling well over $1 Billion. In August 2019, I oversaw a Marine Corps/Army joint field training operation for armory logistics and operations in Michigan. In March 2020, I received the Ground Ordnance Maintenance Marine of the Year Award (GOMA) 2019, for everything that I had done the previous year.

I worked as a coding instructor for children aged as low as 5 to 15. I managed a "Sensei" team whose job was to help children learn how to code. Working through problems and figuring out different ways to tackle new ones was one of the most important aspects of this job. Teaching and encouraging these children to learn code was challenging and fun. Creating new ways to introduce abstract concepts was a big task, and it was always rewarding to see the face of the child when they finally "got it."
