Oversee Industrial Group quality efforts, including:•Conduct pre-construction conferences with project team and subcontractors to define quality standards•Liaison with architects and engineering staff to interpret specification and drawing requirements•Develop a project specific Quality Implementation Plan with input from architecture/engineering staff to be used during design and construction•Plan inspection procedures for architecture/engineering staff during construction•Inspect construction progress at specified intervals to determine compliance with contract documents◦Produce an inspection report for each trip, indicating deficiencies, as noted, and corrective action(s)◦Review construction team responses with architecture/engineering staff•Identify local construction-materials testing laboratories and manage the testing program throughout construction of each project•Recognized company expert in roofing inspection•Perform routine peer reviews of construction documents including drawings and specifications•Organizes AE punchlist inspections and performs QA punch list for each assigned project•Facilitates project lessons learned meetings and documents all project lessons learned items

•Supervision of Laboratory Assessors, including: Review and approval of inspection reports, staff assessment schedules, travel expenses, time sheets, coordination of monthly assessment meetings•In-house and field training of Laboratory Assessors, including: Teaching assessment techniques and communication skills; demonstration of test method procedures and apparatus checking techniques; evaluations of inspection performance in the field•Coordinate annual performance evaluation and field performance evaluations of designated Laboratory Inspectors•Review new AASHTO and ASTM test standards and apply necessary changes to AMRL assessor field worksheets•Direct AMRL team responsible for yearly calibration and verification of in-house testing and field inspection equipment•Manage critical AMRL resources, including (but not limited to): staff and assessment tour scheduling, motor vehicles, ongoing professional development of staff qualification and training•Technical support for the AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP)•General support: AMRL research, quality and safety programs•Manage any projects related to AMRL strategic plan and goals •Participate in ASTM technical committees including attendance/representation at User Producer Group meetings and related activities
