Whether it was teaching myself to play the guitar, building my first website, or cooking my first turkey, I simply dive headfirst into learning something new.As an adult that has spilled over into how I've made my living and the various roles that I've found myself in.I've spent almost 15 years working in communications, graphic design, and photography, yet those are only a small piece of what I've actually done day to day. My jobs have included being responsible for everything from customer service, sales, web design, and internet marketing to running events, project management, training and managing teams, designing marketing collateral, and more.I often find myself being the go-to person for simply whatever job needs to be done because if I can't do it now I'll either learn how or find someone who can. Having that ability to learn new tasks quickly and proficiently has allowed me to step into roles I normally would not have thought to take on.It has contributed to me being: the communications specialist in charge of all internal and external communications for a local water utility, the official photographer for Airborne School on Ft. Moore where I took the photo of every new US Paratrooper for 3 and half years, and the event coordinator for an annual conference that was featured on CNN, Buzzfeed, and in an award-winning documentary.I love getting the opportunity to do something new, especially if it allows me to be creative and/or gives me the opportunity to create unique experiences for other people.I'm always looking for new experiences of my own and new opportunities to expand my skillset, so feel free to reach out to me at theangeltaylor@gmail.com
