Responsibilities – Assistant Director of Forensics• Develop local, regional, and national travel schedule for students involved in the speech/debate program. Travel, coach, and judge at tournaments. • Promote, organize, and effectively run the Cypress Bay High School Tradition tournament (TOC Qualifier). • Manage over 1000 CBHS students per year in travel to tournaments, and coordinate with parents and administration throughout the process. Responsibilities – Debate Teacher• Teacher for Debate I-II (Honors), and introduced students to all forensic events. • Organize logistics for all Debate I and II students to go to Broward County After School Speech and Debate Tournaments once a month. Responsibilities – Middle School Forensics Coordinator • Oversee 13 new middle school debate programs and mentor middle school debate teachers in Broward County, FL. • Coordinate and structure middle school speech/debate tournaments and mentor students in programs toward competitive success. Responsibilities – High School Initiative Speech/Debate Liaison• Instruct and lead sessions to fellow high school educators about developing and managing speech/debate programs.• Educate students about the different forensics events and the competitions.• Set up and run tabulation at high school tournaments within the county.
