I had the realization that if I surrendered to the comfort, I’d never know what I was truly capable of as a professional. That thought ate away at me until I ultimately knew if I didn’t make a change, I was going to always wonder “what if” I had. At that moment, I realized I HAVE to discover my true potential as a professional, and that meant leaving the comfortable corner office and starting from square one in an industry where I could completely control my own destiny – Real Estate. Two weeks before my first child was born, I left that stable position for the great unknown. I studied hard and got my Real Estate License a few months later in March of 2018. I closed a half-dozen deals before the end of the year and then made the move to eXp Realty in January of 2019. Over the next 12 months, my first full calendar year as a Realtor, I was paid on 40 sides for almost $13mm in volume. Good enough to earn the ICON award with eXp Realty and collect $16k in publicly traded stock (Now worth a LOT MORE due to amazing stock performance).My second calendar year ended with more volume and another ICON award, and year three is on an even better trajectory.My success as a Realtor was not something that happened to me…it’s something I MADE happen to me.
