Analyze and inspected partsbefore and after machining.Duties and Responsibilities:• Performed complex machining operations in support of job shop machining• Operated multiple types of machine tools and performed progressive machining operationsto completion, creating tooling components and assemblies with close tolerances or high finishrequirements.• Fit and assembled where necessary, using machinists precision hand tools and measuring instruments.• Familiarity with the working properties of various materials.• Programed CNC machines in the course of making parts.• Detected faulty processes and provided input for their resolution.• Followed verbal and written instructions, sketches, schedules, drawings and documents.• Performed all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.• Was responsible for ensuring proper documentation is entered on manufacturing planning (includingcorrect quantities) and paperless timecard system.• Ability to demonstrate basic operations to others with supervisor approval.• Work under limited oversight.Skills and Experience:• Reading and understanding of manufacturing planning, sketches, blueprints, and specifications asnecessary to perform the job function.• Basic knowledge of geometric dimensioning and symbols.
