In August of 2021, I completed work on the final draft of my debut novel, Freewilds - The Cult & the Constable. It is a detective noir mystery tale that takes place in an original fantasy setting. It will be published and available for purchase in 40,000 independent and chain bookstores, libraries, and online retailers worldwide, including Apple, Kobo, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bertrams, Waterstones, Booktopia, and more. In this role, heavy multitasking, computer literacy, report writing, and telecommunication skills are paramount to my success. In response to gas and electric incidents and emergencies, I evaluate the needs of often rapidly-emerging situations, allocate and dispatch line crews, gas mechanics, and commercial representatives to assess, repair, and make-safe as the situation requires. I am also responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies, writing detailed, concise reports, and often doing so while simultaneously handling several unrelated calls-for-service.I have plans to seek further educational opportunities in order to enhance my skillset, both as a small business owner and as an employee of Central Hudson Gas & Electric. I am also working on further writing projects, including self-help non-fiction books such as the Track Your Journey series of self-improvement journals and Escaping the Gray: A Way Ahead, a semiautobiographical novel examining my efforts to recover from depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
