As urban migration increases and nuclear families become more prevalent, today’s parents face significant challenges when raising young children, especially in urban settings. They struggle to find the right preschool partner that adheres to global standards, a nurturing space for their child’s passions and hobbies, and reliable, quality childcare. Openhouse steps in to address these critical needs for both parents and children aged 1 to 10 during their formative years.Our mission at Openhouse is to improve the quality and accessibility of education during these crucial early years. We aim to be more than just a network of learning centers; we envision Openhouse as the next evolution in education—a one-stop shop in every neighborhood that provides comprehensive solutions for parents and their children. We are dedicated to cultivating an active community where each child is seen, supported, and inspired to explore and reach their full potential. Since our inception, we have established eight Openhouses, including six in Bangalore and two in Kolkata. We have engaged with over 5,000 children and 2,000 parents, supported by a dedicated team of more than 200 teachers. Our ambition is to expand to 300 learning centers across India by 2030 and eventually take Openhouse to other parts of the world.

Branding and Visual Design for Makaibari Tea.Makaibari is the world's first tea factory and was established in 1859. All farmers are artists. Their palette is the earth, where they create their paintings with various seeds and animals, to produce food that sustains mankind. An enormous responsibility that needs unequivocal support from all. Rudolph Steiner's biodynamic method has evolved an uniquely healthy soil, that houses a healthy society. The goal of biodynamic practices coupled with permaculture, to usher harmony between soil, microorganisms, plants, animals and man, is a simple magical experience which could be replicated as a model in many places.Harmonious interactions at all stages have created a bio trope for many species of animals to thrive here, including endangered panthers, tigers, birds, butterflies, snakes, spiders and many others, feeding off of each other as part of the natural food chain. Makaibari follows a form of integrated forest management utilizing permaculture where the tea bush is part of a multi-tier system of trees and plants typical of a sub-tropical rainforest, as opposed to a monocultural farm that grows only one crop. Makaibari retains 70% of its entire area under forest cover. All of these could be experienced through our village Homestay and volunteer work and internships.

Playing For Change arose from a common belief that music has the power to connect people regardless of their differences. In 2005, a small group of filmmakers set out with a dream to create a film rooted in the music of the streets, started traveling the world with a mobile recording studio to film and record musicians in the places where they lived. In a few years Playing For Change and the Songs Around The World have grown into a global sensation that has touched the lives of millions of people around the globe...While traveling the world to film and record, the crew got to know the music and people of each community they visited. Those involved wanted to give something back to the musicians who had shared so much with them. In 2007, the Playing for Change Foundation was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization to create positive change through music and arts education. Over the last decade we've created 15 music schools across 11 countries, most specifically in the developing world, using music as a tool for education and social change.As one of our students in Nepal stated, “Music is an indispensable part of life -‐ you cannot live without music.” We couldn’t agree more. At the Playing For Change Foundation, we live our lives by this principle and apply it to everything we do.
