My role consisted of having only a few months to organise and separate thousands of documents and folders for archiving, something I wasn't familiar with or trained for but adapted to and did the job that was asked in such a short amount of time.

My job entailed setting up large amounts of broadcast equipment e.g. microphones, receivers etc.It took me to lots of different events and places I never thought I'd have the chance to go, the highlight being setting up sound for The South bank Show awards at the Dorchester Hotel and getting to know Melvyn Bragg and other seasoned professionals.

My role was initially to deal with Beers, Wines and Spirits but I spent the second year on checkouts dealing with a wide variety of the general public.The experience was immensely useful in dealing with people and learning how to communicate and make small talk with members of the public I'd meet often for the first time daily.
