Western Mechatronics is a Non-Profit association dedicated to connecting youth and students alike with STEM learning opportunities, specifically through Vex Robotics Competitions. Western Mechatronics hosts free online robotics introductory courses, hands-on rental programs, and comprehensive Summer camps to students all across Canada. WestMech has four competitive Middle School and Elementary Vex Robotics club teams, which meet weekly at our downtown workshop to build and compete their own unique robots against other teams across Alberta. Our mission is to connect and empower the youth with robotics opportunities through VEX Robotics Competitions.- Responsible for general management and supervision of team members and robot design process- Provide support and advice for troubleshooting and engineering problems- Advocate for greater diversity and inclusion for engineering and design

As a junior member of the hardware design team, I am involved in the design process, build, test, verification, and support of new embedded vision hardware designs.

Summer Internship where I assisted in the manufacturing and setup of their GPS devices. Skills used included Soldering, Circuit Analysis/Debugging, Wire manufacturing, Crimping, and setup of various different devices.
