Controls Systems Engineer

A part of the opening team, my primary responsibilities were the operation of the Central Utility Plant, building mechanical, and fire life safety systems. Along with oversight of customer service requests.I worked closely with our HVAC and CUP operations team, creating interim operating procedures for the mechanical plant and HVAC systems in lieu of having fully operating equipment or an implemented sequence of operations.I have been responsible for the integration of the majority of our mechanical assets into the Transcendent CMMS software. As well as the distribution and scheduling of work for engineering personnel. Partnering with the commissioning company and several other contractors to ensure proper startup/operation of mechanical systems, building automation systems, and the CUP.I have had to react decisively to several emergency situations relating to building mechanical and life safety systems, mitigating damage to building assets and impact to guests.
Hvac Tech Ii Lead
Lead technician on 2nd shift overseeing a team of 4 other maintenance techs. During this time I also took lead on the mechanical additions of a 303 room, 100,000 sqft meeting space expansion onto the property.
