Produce dynamic news videos for an online insurance trade publication. Pitches story ideas, researches topics, arranges and conducts interviews with C-Level executives, writes scripts and headlines, compiles data for graphics, and finds appropriate b-roll to tell the story.

Since joining A.M. Best in 1998, I've written about many aspects of the insurance industry for all of the well respected trade publications here. I write daily stories for BestWire, weekly stories for BestWeek, and more indepth stories for our monthly publication, Best's Review. Where possible, I also included multimedia content through both video and audio interviews.

Worked as the first consumer editor at A.M. Best Co. Produced multimedia educational reports about the insurance industry for "civilians" -- people not in the industry. Wrote print stories and created graphics, as well as wrote and voiced Web video scripts to accompany the stories.

Wrote in-depth stories on the insurance industry with a focus on reinsurance and capital markets for A.M. Best's flagship monthly insurance trade magazine, Best's Review.

Wrote breaking insurance news stories for A.M. Best's fast-paced daily wire service. Wrote more in-depth pieces for the company's weekly trade publication, BestWeek.

Wrote two to three stories a day for a community newspaper. Coordinated graphics and photos where appropriate. Covered breaking news, features and local government activities.

Wrote two to three stories a day for a daily newspaper. Covered Chautauqua County, NY.
