I am a Creative Professional who works in the research and development team here at Monotype. The R&D team holds the responsibility to take care of all the AI/ML related work. Being a creative professional, I work on the Autotagger project here, which involves research, identifying, categorizing and tagging the fonts and then training the model. This gives me the opportunity to work closely with engineers to execute the task optimally. I often have to do extensive research on upcoming tags before generating them. Apart from this, I also have experience in Font Pairing, where we pair fonts (heading with body copy) with the help of AI. Customers can purchase these pairs directly according to their needs, for instance, a person doesn't have to search through the website multiple times to search pairs which he wants to use , he can directly buy the pairs which are suitable and suggested by a creative professional.As a creative professional, I have a plethora of ideas to make things constantly improve, I took part in “IDEATHON” held at Monotype, where our team’s idea was chosen over others and funded .
