As Director, I am responsible for developing, implementing and managing budgets, new revenue streams and all matters related to personnel. Perform security audits and assessments on hospitals and financial institutions as related to HIPAA, PCI and GLB. Perform gap analysis on business as related to State and Federal law, Recommend mitigation strategies and validate effectiveness of mitigation controls. Plan hardware, software and network upgrades for medical and financial facilities to improve security and decrease downtime. Develop and test disaster plans. Meet with CEO and Board members to relay findings and answer questions about security. Manage security upgrade projects to ensure they are on-time and on-budget. Developed security policies and procedures used in hospitals throughout the country. Convey knowledge of IT security through lectures at national conference (CSI, Defcon, HIMSS).
