Working at Listen Technologies since 2019 has deepened my appreciation for work that makes a significant difference in how people live and communicate. Providing accessibility to clean audio is more than just entertainment. It's freedom and autonomy to communicate and connect with others. I've worked as our electronic repair services, in technical services, and am currently in our applications testing department. I provide comprehensive testing on our devices and review their technical performance. I also evaluate our devices for usability for users from a school aged child to those who have developed hearing loss late in life.Our applications team focuses on the user experience, but is involved with our Engineering team and Product Management in the stages of product design and development stages as well as maintenance and enhancements. We work directly with Product Management and Technical Services team to address user experiences with all of our products. The systems I work with include RF and IR transmitters and receivers, DECT transceivers, GPS triggered commentary system with web based tour design, and a Wi-Fi Audio Server that streams over LAN to Android and Apple mobile applications and our soon to be released Wi-Fi receivers. Additionally I have experience in AV system design and installation. audio production and audio editing, electronics and architectural drafting, electronics troubleshooting, metalworking and welding.
