I am a mechanical engineer with over 2.5 years' experience in the mining and metals sector. I hold a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honors) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Management) from Curtin University in Perth. I currently work for Fluor Australia as a Design Mechanical Engineer working on mining EPCM projects across the world.Current experience includes:- Batu Hijau project in Indonesia, where I was involved in the FEED and detailed design phases of a copper concentrate plant.- PDP2 project in Port Headland where I was involved in the SPS phase and subsequent bridging into DPS to improve and upgrade BHP Port Headland operations, including the design of a new car dumper system and various related belt conveyors and associated equipment.My strong leadership skills, as well as my experience and formal education in management drive my desire to explore the opportunities to work with people, as it is my belief that people are the backbone of a successful project.
