The Staples Center houses four professional sports teams including the Los Angeles Lakers. Special events include The Grammy Awards and high-profile concerts.Warehouse Management- Maintaining a revolving physical inventory valued at approximately $1.5MM at cost- Directly manage staff of two exempt managers and indirectly manage eight non-exempt warehouse associates both on site and remotely at off-site distribution center - Accountable for hiring and maintaining appropriate staffing levels, employee scheduling, payroll, training, development of all team members and developing departmental policies and proceduresLogistics - Interact with inbound freight operators and domestic shipping companies to receive, organize, structure, rotate, allocate and order fulfill a 43,000 SKU inventory- Maintain relationships with shipping vendors for pricing, contractual matters, customer escalations and billing - Maintain relationship with import/export customs brokerOperations- Implement and streamline full lifecycle of inventory control process utilizing alpha-numeric identification bin location coding- Verify inbound shipments for accuracy, stock and receive into Inventrak POS system in appropriate bin location- Generate orders against current inventory for order fulfillment of 7 to 15 retail outlets on a daily basis- Maintain accuracy of inventory with cycle counts - Prepare and perform fiscal inventory annually for audit compliance
