My early work life was based around my love for motorsport. I worked as a PA and marketing coordinator for a Formula One test driver at the time, before accepting my dream job with the Ford World Rally team in PR, marketing and event management. My job role was diverse and challenging. I designed liveries for rally cars, travelled the world organising and hosting dealers at WRC events, designed, coordinated and hosted their stands at prestigious motor shows and assisted their day to day global marketing activities. Needless to say this role was pivotal in establishing my excellent organisational, communication and planning skills. The need to be proactive, reactive and think on my feet at a moment’s notice is something I still implement today.In the years since, I honed my skills further with a specialist event management company organising and running events for the likes of Vodaphone, BMW and 3. I then spent two years as a Personal Assistant to three external Directors working within Plymouth Children’s Services, where my skills as a well-rounded PA grew and flourished.After having my two fantastic children, I worked part time as marketing and administration co-coordinator for a small but very successful marketing training company. They are now one of my most valued clients who hire me for one day a week and more often when things get busy.
