Provided critical design engineering support to external team members including field construction managers during the construction phase, and the client and operating team personnel post construction. Evaluated the technical feasibility of various energy projects across the US and created comprehensive reports for contracting officers and clients. • Lead the engineering development of the largest Utility Energy Service Contract ever awarded by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security. The $39M project incorporates numerous energy savings improvements including, combined heat and power, boiler plant replacement, chiller plant expansion and other savings measures including HVAC, Controls, Lighting, Solar PV and Water conservation improvements. • Lead Mechanical Engineer of Record for the the design and development of a $10M design build project that included a 1 MW combined heat and power plant interfaced with a new 20 MBH High Temperature Hot Water Boiler Plant at The Camp Barrett Basic School, Quantico, VA. Provided all stamped mechanical engineering design documentation and coordination with the construction and commissioning teams to complete a successful project. • Stepped into a key engineering leadership role during construction on a previously developed $40+M ESPC project for the Department of Interior, Washington DC. Managed the engineering design review process of all required submittals and liaised with the client on behalf of both the engineering and construction teams. Interfaced directly with subcontractors and consultants to resolve field issues and to provide timely solutions.
