◤ ABOUTBased in Yangon, I provide legal counsel to Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOEs) engaged as sponsors or EPC contractors on their PPP energy, real estate, and infrastructure projects. Additionally, I support branches and representative offices of leading Taiwanese and Chinese banks, offering tailored legal solutions to meet their operational needs.Beyond this, I advise local businessmen and conglomerates on joint ventures with international counterparts, ensuring successful collaborations. My expertise also extends to assisting these entities in their roles as facilitators or land aggregators for major development projects, navigating the complexities of cross-border transactions and Myanmar's regulatory framework.

◤ ABOUTBased in Yangon, I am assisting major energy and infrastructure sponsors, EPC contractors and lenders on their PPP projects. In addition, I am also counseling major real estate developers on their residential and mixed-use developments in Myanmar.◤ KEY ACHIEVEMENTS - ENERGY AND INFRASTRUCTURE- Assisted bidders for the 2020 EPGE's 1,060 MW Solar Tender. Prepared bid documentation, drafted lease agreements, consortium agreements and JVAs, EPC contracts, negotiated LoAs and PPAs with EPGE and advised on regulatory framework, particularly on land acquisition issues.- Assisted the sponsors of a landmark 1,390 MW LNG-to-Power in Mee Lin Gyaing. Helped negotiating the terms of a fee-sharing agreement to be entered into with the Myanma Port Authority with regards to an LNG-receiving terminal.- Principal advisor to Green Earth Power Thailand and their Myanmar subsidiary for the largest solar power project in Myanmar: Minbu 170 MW Solar Project. Notably advised on the provisions of the PPA and drafted EPC and service agreements. I was instrumental in coordinating actions of the Thai and the Myanmar team to ensure the smooth operation of Phase 1 and the development of Phases 2,3 and 4 of the Project.- Assisted the sponsors of the 671 MW Shweli 3 Hydropower Project. Advised on land acquisition matters, environmental and social compliance, regulatory and licensing issues.◤ KEY ACHIEVEMENTS - REAL ESTATE- Personally counseled the Department of Urban Housing Development on the drafting of the template constitution for the condominium associations required to be set up under the new Condominium Law and Rules.- Advised the largest Japanese construction company on its US$400M BOT development in Myanmar. Reviewed internal agreements pertaining to project management and project structure.- Advised a local company on its JV with a Chinese firm for the development of a US$80M hotel/service apartment BOT project. Drafted and negotiated the JVA and BOT agreement.

◤ ABOUTFirst based in Bangkok, Thailand, and then in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, I assist major players from the Energy sector and real estate developers on their projects in the ASEAN region.◤ KEY ACHIEVEMENTS- Assisted a leading French EPC contractor in the floating solar industry, with regards to its application for tax and legal incentives to the Board of Investment. Prepared the application and conducted meeting with the Board of Investment. - Assisted various real estate developers in Thailand and Cambodia, designed tax efficient structures, incorporated local and offshore entities, drafted all the necessary documentation and designed a profit repatriation strategy.

◤ ABOUTBased in Gazaupuy, France, I serve as the company secretary of the wine domaine. I assist the domaine on its day to day compliance, legal, tax and corporate governance issues. In addition, I am also in charge of identifying and  acquiring new clients and business opportunities.◤ KEY ACHIEVEMENTS- Drafted and reviewed various commercial contracts.- Drafted and reviewed shareholders resolutions, directors resolutions and minutes of meetings.- Handled regulatory, compliance and customs issues, on my own or liaising with an external counsel for more complex issues.- Secured over 25 new clients.
