I started working in Trust and Safety as a moderator in 2016. Prior to this field, for four years I was a Staging team leader, constructing stages all around Middle Tennessee. I have spent the last 6 years of my life as a Program Manager in QA for Moderation, where I have led hundreds of team members across multiple languages with BPOs around the globe. My goal has always been child safety focused, while actively driving my team’s quality. In 2018, I was given the reigns to rebuild QA at my company from the ground up. I was able to create new teams, metrics, procedures, and programs for all of our partners, while we worked persistently to better our teams. I have trained hundreds of of QA agents over the past few years, and have used my creativity, problem solving, and long-term vision to combat the ever-evolving trends and attacks from bad actors on the platform. As we rebuilt our tooling, I was able to work cross-functionally with many departments, like Engineering, Policy, and Operations in order to effectively communicate the needs and wants of QA, as we steer ever closer to a data-driven environment. QA has become a deep rooted passion, and I have loved my job from the first day I started. My goal is to continue along this field for as far as it will take me. The future is bright!
