The unique thing about me is that I am an executive Swiss Army knife. I am equally qualified, effective and happy leading initiatives in Marketing, Operations and Finance, or in all 3 simultaneously. I wear many hats. In addition to my lead role in Sales & Marketing, I am my company's primary executive for shipping logistics, contract negotiation, partnerships and facilities management. I enjoy continuously improving processes in order to optimize experiences for all stakeholders. I believe that every business and personal process can always be made better. As a manager, I recognize the importance of hiring great people, ensuring that they both share in the vision and harness the tools to do their jobs. I build outstanding teams based upon principles of shared respect; effective and proactive communication; and personal accountability. I have conceived and started three businesses, sold two, and bought one. I have saved a small e-tailer $300K in annual shipping costs. I have played a major role in building millions in shareholder equity. I have eaten ice cream for breakfast with Jerry Greenfield (of Ben & Jerry's), and I was berated by the CEO of a major apparel retailer because my company was insufficiently cool. The CEO was right. We were not, but we got cooler.I am a technology enthusiast who is articulate in business applications including collaborative documents, data analysis and modeling, cloud storage, web and form design, and social marketing. I am also a proficient technical and creative writer, having authored pieces ranging from retail signage to TV and radio ads, technical manuals, operations analyses, blog posts, and a 50-page Investment Memorandum that I personally pitched to private equity firms in Manhattan.Always happiest working on interdisciplinary projects that improve experiences, from simple redesigns to complex re-imaginings, I possibly should have been a Disney Imagineer. I promise you that I would have made the It's a Small World ride less annoying. Instead, I make business interactions less annoying, more fun, and better. That's what I do.
