I became an entrepreneur before graduating from college, starting a company in my fourth year at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. For 10 years Natural Habitats Unlimited Inc, a real estate services company, grew and expanded until I sold it to Farmers National Company in Omaha. As part of the acquisition I became the youngest vice president in the company. During my tenure at the company I was responsible for building 2 successful listing services - one internal and one public - including a national franchise that was featured in USA Today.
