With roles in 1st, 2nd and third line support, including on-call for 24 hour coverage of systems. Throughout my time I have gained specific training within fields as the roles required, such as cybercrime, and Stanley PAC, Sharepoint, and project management. As well as CAA Drone usage, and specialist operations for which I am unable to discuss.Having an interest in the Arts, has always meant I have had an interest in design. This coupled with technology led to a natural progression to web design and consequently development. I am accomplished at front end design and well versed in back end code. Utilising PHP & MYSQL, HTML, CSS and JQuery/Javascript, I have built some well established sites. I list it as a hobby as it is mostly completed during my spare time, although I have used the skills within my normal support work to produce user centric, front ends to data , enabling quick and efficient access.Outside of work, pre pandemic, I spent a lot of time SCUBA diving. having achieved the IDC Staff Instructor status, I was often teaching at all levels from first breaths to instructors undertaking their own courses. Both in the classroom and water, it was great to instruct and enable others to engage in new activities. I furthered this by volunteering with the Dorset ACF. Taking the training through to Sergeant Instructor, I taught Cadets both formally and informally through the classroom and training syllabus and in the field as required.Following the pandemic, I decided a change was required and re-skilled in digital marketing, through a CIM boot camp. A natural side-step progression, considering my web, project management and social media marketing skills. This bizarrely led to an opportunity to teach at the college I was studying at. Now, I find myself as a lecturer with over 20 years field experience, finally doing the thing I studied to do, albeit in a completely different area to which I studied and thought!
