• Experience managing cross-functional teams consisting of business analysts, system developers, system coders, product consultants, quality control analysts and production analysts in support of the end-to-end development and coding of the systems and implementation of the health care benefit documents, used internally by sales and operations and externally by brokers, members and employer groups.• Work in partnership with stakeholders, business partners and end-users to explore system and operational improvement opportunities, negotiate deliverables, and manage expectations • Conduct business process analysis, system and data analysis, gap analysis, root cause analysis, and create functional and technical requirements, data mapping, feature definitions, business cases, user stories, flow-charts, swim-lanes, and SIPOCS.• Develop test plans and perform user acceptance testing of new or enhanced system functionality.• Evaluate policy and procedures and update them to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness and improve service.• Create and conduct training programs to introduce system enhancements and process improvements to stakeholders and end users. • Spearhead complex technical and operational process improvement projects, including multiple application integration challenges, using standard status reporting, project management and Business System Management (SDLC) methodology.• Strong background improving team performance through innovative management techniques, focusing on employee engagement, employee training and development, and mentoring opportunities, with the goal of creating and retaining a diverse team of employees who are enthusiastic about making health care benefits easier to understand.
