About Therese Wagner
I'm a seasoned educator and training specialist with 20 years' experience. Currently, I am the Mathematics Lead at I-LEAD Charter School but I am looking towards a career pathway which utilizes my eLearning and Training expertise. I'm passionate about working with a team and helping clients grow and achieve their goals. During the past year, I worked as an intern where I designed learning programs for Elywn and for Bloomsburg University. I loved working on my Masters in Instructional Technology because it allowed me to utilize my ability to quickly adapt to new technology while using my education background. During this experience, I was able to create blended learning environments and web-based learning modules. As the Math Department leader for the past 5 years, I have grown in my ability to direct my math team and collaborate in establishing a climate where effective learning takes place. I used my coursework in Instructional Design to teach and coach staff members on technology for their classroom. There is so much to gain from a ADDIE approach to learning that I incorporated this into my curriculum.Before I took some time to stay home with my children, I worked as a manager and project leader. I really enjoyed consulting because you get a chance to meet new people and gain new ideas. My ability to acclimate myself quickly to changing situations is one of my greatest strengths. My intellectual curiosity has driven me to be a lifelong learner. Now that my children are all grown, I thought it was time for me to branch out and see what more I could do. As soon as I entered into the Instructional Design field, I knew I was home. It brings together my skills as an educator and my competence in working with technology.I am currently seeking a job in eLearning and Training or Instructional Design.
