Previously, at the Army Artificial Intelligence Integration Center (AI2C), I advanced AI technologies for Army Futures Command. Before that, as the first Training with Industry Fellow at Palantir Technologies, I pioneered the implementation of Maven Smart Systems, delivering AI capabilities to the DoD.Believing in the transformative power of AI, I've authored several articles and books on the subject, including "ChatGPT in DoD Acquisitions" and "Why the Army Needs a Drone Branch." I even wrote a children's book in less than 8 hours using artificial intelligence.I'm currently pursuing a PhD at Capitol Technology University, focusing on enhancing AI proficiency within the DoD acquisition workforce through my dissertation on "Bridging the AI Talent Gap."Beyond my military career, I'm an active angel investor with Arizona Tech Investors, supporting innovative MedTech AI and SaaS startups to advance AI technologies in the private sector.I also support my wife at Solano Immigration Law Firm, where we aim to help one million immigrants build better futures.I'm a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), hold an Advanced Program Manager certification, and am an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach. As a Senior Army Aviator and former UH-60 Blackhawk Maintenance Test Pilot, I served with distinction in the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade in Hawaii and the 21st Air Cavalry Brigade at Fort Hood, TX, including multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point (Go Army!), a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master's Certificate in Aviation Doctoral Studies (all but dissertation) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.I will retire from the Army in 2025 and will continue my work at Solano Law Firm as well as my leadership coaching and consulting business.
