Much of the firmware/software that I created has been working reliably for many years in dispatch centers, TVs, and aircraft around the world at this point.To be a highly effective manager of software talent, I have leveraged not only my deep knowledge of software design, development, deployment, maintenance, etc., but also the many insights I have gleaned through careful observation and introspection, regarding team dynamics and individual motivation. I am a careful listener who believes in gathering input and buy-in, while still being a decision-maker who will take the consequences when things don't go as expected, but will freely give credit to the team when they do.
