Working within the Kuehne-Nagel Ltd Lean Logistics Solutions Team at Airbus UK in Broughton my primary function is to provide Customer Service Support, specifically Bespoke Packaging Solutions, working to exacting aerospace quality standards plus the maintenance and repair of existing packaging systems.My responsibilities include business to business sales, solutions design, supplier selection, requests for quotation and supplier pricing negotiation, quotation to customer, procurement, manufacturing and on time delivery of a wide variety of bespoke and off the shelf packaging materials.All projects are managed utilising the Prince 2 gateway controlled project management methodology, using our in-house "Clarity" software tools and documentation.I am also responsible for new customer business development and the establishment and maintenance of the Kuehne-Nagel Ltd Packaging Solutions as the preferred service provider to all of our customers.

Responsible for the total company packaging function including project management for New Product Introduction, ongoing packaging systems maintenance and cost reduction exercises.Experienced in Returnable Packaging systems including metal stillages (standard and bespoke), plastic containers (moulded and fabricated), dunnage inserts (ethafoam, vacuum formed, corrugated fibreboard), plastic pallets.Also experienced in One-way packaging methods (corrugated fibreboard, wooden pallets), consumables such as banding, void fill etc.Budgetary control, close liason with customers, suppliers, Quality Assurance and production personnel.
