Established a fully functional external innovation portfolio management team to oversee a total portfolio of 23 biotech partners with over 70 therapeutic candidates.

CROs, and academic institutions globally, conducted diligence on licensed candidates or companies acquired such as Anadys, Interimiune, Savera, A* Star, Inovio, others.

In this then start-up I led cardiovascular therapeutic discovery and development programs. Led a team of scientists to perform pharmacological evaluation of G protein coupled receptor modulators, with one of the A1 antagonists (CVT-124) advancing to clinical studies for K-sparing diuretic function.
