From the end of my freshman year, Dr. Kemeny asked me to work with him. I started with basic pressures of tracking papers, exams, and quiz grades in spreadsheets. I helped in the critiquing of students writing and reading questions for classes. In addition, I helped in revising books, book reviews and articles for academic publication.

I was recruited to the collegian to be primarily a scout of new fresh perspectives and as an editor who can breathe life into the section. In this role, we have revitalized a long struggling Perspectives Section by bringing fresh vision, writers, and artistic talents to the Collegian.

When Grove City lacked an excellent political organization, I helped form a new group with Young Americans for Liberty. Through this organization, my team and I brought in respected speakers to inform students be better citizens and defend Constitution freedoms. We created a successful activist chapter with well organized activism campaigns informing on the Bill of Rights, civil liberties, free speech and flag plant in honor of 911 victims

As an intern, I contributed solid original research for use in Health Care policy briefs and book project for Dr. David Hogberg. I did original research from searching professional databases to researching in the Library of Congress. Additionally, I demonstrated excellent writing and proofreading skills while editing book chapters and writing policy blogs
