CurrentAn Australian brand created under my direction as a group entity to amalgamate multiple businesses and brands from a variety of company structures. Aspire42 acquires companies and launches brands with a major focus on the consumer leasing space, with a view to transforming that ageing industry into one apposite to the modern world. Other silos in development or planning include lifestyle, commercial and health. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Member of new leadership team tasked with wholesale restructure of business. The business had multiple brands that needed a complete review and overhaul, making tough decisions on which to jettison, where to consolidate and how to expand.• Inherited multiple consumer leasing brands that cannibalised each other, including Essential Appliance Rentals, Make It Mine and Radio Rentals. Creation of a coherent strategy to merge and strengthen the portfolio. • Managing multichannel marketing approach covering Paid Search, Display ads, TV ads, Email and SMS communication channels.• Creation and implementation of group and individual business marketing strategies.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS• Overhaul of marketing department from a tactical communications team to a complete marketing unit that assumed responsibility for product, pricing, promotion and positioning to support strategy. • Launching the Snaffle brand under huge time and technical constraints during COVID-19, including major ecommerce website launch.• Key part of leadership team that managed a major acquisition and business integration during COVID-19 lockdown. Management of the business and team that delivered a major brand launch during lockdown.• Evolved product offering and pricing model leading to a 50% increase in average customer contract value.• Created Aspire42 brand to transition all companies within disparate organisations under one umbrella.• Identified and implemented marketing automation and web platforms to service the business, replacing deficient technology.
