I'm a life scientist with a background in translational research in oncology and drug discovery. Additionally I have taught college-level courses in microbiology and molecular biology. Currently my work focuses of developing and implementing small molecule screens for the identification and validation of novel inhibitor compounds. As an Instructor, I teach a Microbiology course on a recurrent basis at Keiser University.I possess over 12 years of scientific research and teaching experience. My academic research experience in both infectious disease and cancer provides a broad base of understanding and expertise to translation-based projects. I have extensive writing experience and have successfully applied for grants throughout my career. Additionally, I have experience in project and personnel management. In my current position I am responsible for a team composed of one technician, one graduate student a two undergraduate students.
