I was member of a 4 people team, working with an IBM client (Janssen-Cilag, pharma company). Many challenges were faced, combining business analysis and technical development. We had close contact with both client's and IBM's employees to help us create a solution that is best for both IBM and client. We ended up with a prototype and business case, presented to the client at IBM Extreme Blue European Expo.I was involved in:- interviews with IBMers and client's representatives- brainstorm and analysis on the scenario to find innovative ideas that fit client requirements- interviews with other stakeholders of our project, like CEOs of Belgian hospitals.- active involvement on modeling and development of full prototype solution - important role in writing technical documents and business case and in presentations.This internship was very important to enrich my work experience, as I was able to:- network with IBM and client employees- experience a real business involving a company as large as IBM- come up with a innovative solution to a real-life problem - work in a motivated environment and be willing to learn- architect and develop a software in a shared-code based environment
